24 month old Boston is clearly at home on an east coast beach. Here she is, enjoying the sights while visiting family in Newport, RI, at Easton’s Beach (more commonly referred to as First Beach by locals). Below, Boston’s mom Megan shares some of her travel tips.
Favorite child-friendly activity:
Being “The Ocean State,” R.I. obviously has lots of beaches to choose from, but First Beach has a carousel, a small playground, and is within walking distance to a clam shack called Flo’s, which serves the fattest-bellied fried clams around. Even Boston tried a few.

Travel tips:

rituals.

Must-have travel gear:
Lollipops for takeoff and landing on the airplane and a cheap, lightweight stroller, like a Chicco. Leave the Bugaboo at home–the baggage handlers will mangle it.
